Cookie Policy

Effective Date: March 3, 2026

1. Overview

ResilienceOS (“the Platform”), operated by Renew EcoMe LLC, is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not set any browser cookies. This policy explains our use of browser storage technologies in compliance with the EU ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, and similar regulations.

2. What We Use Instead of Cookies

The Platform uses localStorage (a browser-based storage mechanism) for the following purposes:

Storage KeyPurposeDuration
cookie-consentRemembers your cookie/storage consent preferenceUntil you clear browser data
resilienceos_themeRemembers your light/dark mode preferenceUntil you clear browser data

3. Analytics (Consent-Gated)

When you Accept on the consent banner, we load Heap Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (page views, feature interactions, session patterns). Heap does not track personal identity — user IDs are hashed before transmission. No analytics are loaded if you Decline or have not yet responded.

The Platform does not use:

  • First-party or third-party tracking cookies
  • Tracking pixels or web beacons
  • Advertising networks or retargeting tools
  • Browser fingerprinting techniques
  • Cross-site tracking of any kind

4. Third-Party Services

The Platform loads resources from third-party services that may use their own storage or networking:

  • Heap Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics, loaded only after consent acceptance.
  • Mapbox — Map tiles and geocoding for the Supply Chain Scanner. Mapbox may collect anonymized usage data per their privacy policy.
  • Stripe — Subscription billing. Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention on payment pages.
  • Google Fonts (via Next.js) — Geist font family. Loaded at build time; no runtime tracking.

We have no control over cookies or storage mechanisms used by these third-party services. See our Privacy Policy for full details on sub-processors.

5. Managing Your Preferences

You can manage your storage preferences at any time by:

  • Clearing your browser’s localStorage (this will reset your consent preference, and the banner will reappear)
  • Using your browser’s built-in privacy settings to control storage

6. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce any new storage mechanisms or tracking technologies, we will update this policy and present a new consent request.
